Join your fellow Democrats, La Mesans and Americans to march in La Mesa’s Flag Day Parade. It’s Saturday, June 1. Arrive 9 am, at the Community Center Parking lot, 4975 Memorial Dr., walk or ride for about a mile, then off to Swami’s to talk about the parade and enjoy a delicious brunch with fellow Democrats. We’re looking for red, white or blue hybrid or electric vehicles to drive in the parade. It’s a low-key, friendly event, with plenty of time to socialize and catch up with your neighbors.
