We kicked off the meeting with board elections and swearing-in. Also: Doug Case, political affairs director for Senator Toni Atkins, updates us on goings-on in Sacramento. LMFDC board member Evlyn Andrade fills us in on her new position as policy advisor to San Diego County Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer, advancing a progressive agenda and advising on one of biggest issues of our time, the climate crisis. And past president Linda Armacost discusses the importance of education.
